The following drawings and
photos explain how easily and efficiently domestic containers are
loaded or off-loaded to/from QUICK-SWAP equipped trucks:
Rail-car with empty turntables, is "parked" at a rail-sliding, ready
to be loaded. Truck-driver swings the turntable out by hand.
Truck-driver backs up the loaded truck to the turntable; by aligning
the two reflectors on the turntable in his rear-view mirrors, he can
ensure proper positioning of the truck.
The
container is now being pushed across to the turntable with the
ingenious QUICK-SWAP system. |
